Grand Targhee Resort Announces Learn to Ski & Snowboard Program

(Alta, WY – January 2, 2014) January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and Grand Targhee is pleased to announce their 1-2-3 Start Me Up To Ski Free Package. Guests who purchase the ‘1-2-3 Start Me Up’ package will receive a 2013/14 winter season pass after the completion of their third lesson. “Learning to ski and snowboard can be a daunting task, but Grand Targhee wants to make you a lifelong skier or rider,” said Mark Hansen, Grand Targhee’s Director of Ski & Snowboard School. “With Targhee’s ‘1-2-3 Start Me Up’ program you’ll, become a skier or rider in no time. It’s simple,” he added.

Grand Targhee’s ‘1-2-3 Start Me Up’ package includes three sessions of a two-hour group lessons, a Shoshone lift ticket and a full day standard gear rental package. To qualify for the 1-2-3 Start Me Up To Ski Free, guests are required to purchase the full package and will receive the season pass on the completion of their third session. This program is only available to beginner skiers and riders who have never held a Grand Targhee Resort season pass and is only $267 for all ages.

Grand Targhee has a dedicated Kids Fun Zone and beginner area complete with natural mountain features to improve your skills and get you ready to tackle the whole mountain. Grand Targhee’s professional instructors make learning to ski or snowboard safe, fun and challenging.

Grand Targhee also encourages current participants to bring a friend or family member along for lessons and take the Bring a Friend Challenge. “Taking the Challenge” simply means that you invite and help enroll at least one newcomer to a beginner lesson or lesson package provided by a professional instructor.
